With over 20 years of experience as a management consultant and business development executive, Marcel has developed and honed a comprehensive skill set applicable to a wide variety of industries.
Marcel earned his M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Eindhoven (Netherlands) and completed Executive Education at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
Prior to joining DWH, he worked on strategy, business transformation and commercial capability development in branded equipment and durable goods manufacturing, industrial services, FMCG and service industries. He has provided services for closely held mid-market growth companies, private equity portfolio companies and public Fortune 500 companies in the US, Europe and South America, including 10 years at Deere & Company.
At DWH, Marcel offers a wide range of consulting and advisory services to clients seeking transitions, transformations and growth. He specializes in helping clients drive growth through strategic planning, redesign of operating models and development and improvement of cross-functional processes and commercial capabilities.
Marcel frequently publishes articles and blogs on current management topics. As a consultant’s consultant with a keen interest in driving process logic and consistency in strategy consulting, change management and managerial decision making, Marcel co-authored the original (first) and second edition of “Key Management Models” (FT/Prentice Hall, 2003) a Financial Times top-10 best-seller which was translated into several other languages.
