Jeff has more than 10 years of experience in economic development, sales, human resources, finance and accounting. Most recently he filled the role of Managing Partner and Director of Business Development specializing in financial and strategic services for startups and small business.

Jeff has a vast understanding of accounting and finance and has worked in public and private accounting roles. He has experience owning and operating his own company and balancing the many roles associated with it. He also has unique expertise in the non-profit sector after nearly three years of economic development work in the U.S. Peace Corps.

As a consultant, he is committed to providing honesty and integrity to every engagement and interaction. He provides expertise in both long and short term business operations, sales growth and strategy planning as well as every aspect of accounting and finance including month end closings, financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting and cash flow projections, and payroll and benefits administration. Jeff is particularly interested in work that requires communicating and using financial information for use in making effective business decisions.

Jeff earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Business Administration Accounting and Finance from Grand Valley State University. He is a member of the Grand Rapids Chapter of the IMA and is a Certified Managerial Accountant. He resides in East Grand Rapids with his wife, Nichole and their two children, Natalie and Thomas.
