DWH announced the opening of a new office in the historic First National Building at 660 Woodward Avenue in Downtown Detroit. The new location, the company’s second in the state, will work closely with the existing DWH office in Grand Rapids, Michigan, providing local service for the company’s existing client base in the metro Detroit region while also offering a base of operations to support continued growth throughout the area.
“DWH has continued to grow at a rapid pace over the past several years, particularly in the Metro Detroit area, and we felt it was the right time to establish a presence on the east side of the state,” said Doug Wilterdink, managing director for DWH. “After exploring a variety of options throughout the area and talking with clients and other business leaders in the region, we decided to invest in a downtown Detroit location.”
The new location in Suite 2400 is on the 24th Floor and offers a view of the Detroit River. DWH worked with Bedrock Real Estate Services to remodel the space to meet their needs. The First National Building is located near Campus Martius Park, Comerica Park and Ford Field, the Renaissance Center and other popular Detroit destinations. The area is also home to a variety of new creative, tech, and emerging growth companies and offers an appealing, vibrant energy.
“We explored several different locations before deciding to make the move to downtown Detroit,” said Wilterdink. “We wanted a location that would be convenient for our clients and team members, provided good value, fit with our corporate culture and offered room to continue our growth, all of which we found at the First National Building. We are really excited to be part of the revitalization of the city and we are looking forward to bringing clients and new prospects to our new, downtown Detroit home.”
