DWH has hired Marianne Fey as a senior director in the company’s Detroit office.
Fey will provide sales and marketing expertise to the team, while also helping the company’s clients maximize value, opportunities and business outcomes.
“DWH opened the Detroit office earlier this year to support our clients based on the east side of the state and to continue our growth in the region,” said Doug Wilterdink, managing director for DWH. “Marianne has the experience and proven expertise to help us accomplish both of those goals. We are extremely excited to welcome her to our team.”
Fey has extensive experience building and growing teams and organizations as an entrepreneur and as a senior corporate executive. She is skilled at developing and implementing strategic plans with an emphasis on sales and marketing. She is also experienced at building strong cross-functional leadership teams and managing organizations through transition.
Prior to joining DWH, Fey served as president of The Competitive Edge Inc., her regional advertising and marketing agency, which Fey grew from a small field office to a full service agency with more than 100 employees over a 10 year period. The company was acquired by McCann Erickson, where Fey served in a variety of management and leadership roles for more than 15 years.
Fey earned a B.A. from Oakland University and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University. She currently serves as an Entrepreneurial Coach for Tech Town, one of the state’s Smart Zones focused on helping entrepreneurs turn early stage start-ups into market ready businesses. Fey also serves on the board of Invest Michigan, the organization that manages the Michigan Pre-seed Fund 2.0. She is also involved with Detroit Public Television, Inforum, Leadership Detroit and Adcraft Club of Detroit.
