DWH announced that David Nemes has joined the firm.
“Dave’s background includes experience as both a business owner/founder and consultant in the banking industry, which gives him unique insight that will be extremely valuable to our clients,” said Doug Wilterdink, managing director for DWH. “DWH provides varying levels of management services to our clients including leadership advice to providing direct, onsite leadership support. Dave’s background will allow him to draw on his own experiences to help provide guidance for DWH clients.”
Nemes is an accomplished business manager with experience in business turnaround, financial modeling, start-up and growth management. Skilled in strategic and business planning from conceptualization to implementation, Nemes has a strong background in finance, entrepreneurship, accounting and data analytics.
Nemes brings more than a decade of corporate ownership and management experience to his role at DWH. Nemes founded several successful companies including Planet Bulb LLC, a lighting supplies company, and Great Plains Hardware LLC, an internet-based hardware retailer. Nemes also served in management roles with The Corvus Group prior to joining DWH where he consulted the FDIC, HUD and other federal agencies on receiverships, public-private partnership and loan sales. At DWH, Nemes will continue his consulting relationship with the FDIC- advising the Corporation on risks and liabilities associated with Loss Share Agreements.
Nemes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both accounting and finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He has also been certified by the state of Michigan as a Public Accountant.
